Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Bayern Munich: Bayern Munich, 9/20
Bayern Munich are massive favourites for another Bundesliga title despite the loss of key striker Robert Lewandowski to FC Barcelona.
Sadio Mane has arrived from Liverpool, whilst Matthijs de Ligt is another excellent pick up, joining from Italian side Juventus.
Eintracht Frankfurt won the Europa League last term and have won two of the last three matches against the German champions.
Despite that it’s hard to look past an away win and they are the first leg of the bet.
Fulham vs. Liverpool: Liverpool, 1/4
Liverpool will face a newly promoted side in their season opener for the fourth league campaign in a row when they travel to face Fulham on Saturday.
The previous three have unsurprisingly brought about three wins and their record against Fulham is superb, winning six of the last eight matches between the two.
Fulham have had a slightly disjointed pre-season campaign and Marco Silva bemoaned a lack of additions a few weeks ago.
In comparison Liverpool go into the new season on the back of beating Manchester City in the Community Shield, with new signing Darwin Nunez among the scorers.
Anything other than away win here would be a real shock and at 1/4 they aren’t as short as they probably could have been.
Ross County vs. Celtic: Celtic, 2/9
Celtic opened their title defence with a comfortable 2-0 win over Aberdeen and they are big favourites to extend their winning start here.
Celtic won all four meetings between the two last term, including another 2-0 success back in April with Kyogo Furuhashi amongst the scorers.
Ross County had a very good campaign last year; however were edged out in their opening fixture this time around and it’s only getting harder for Malky Mackay’s men.
Borussia Dortmund vs. Bayer Leverkusen: Both teams to score, 2/5
Two of the highest scoring sides in the Bundesliga open their new campaign off against each other as Borussia Dortmund host Bayer Leverkusen.
Only Bayern Munich outscored the pair last year, with the two teams finishing in the top three. Both also concede a lot, with only FC Koln in the top half conceding more than the two sides.
Incredibly there was 14 goals in the two meetings between the pair last year and seven of the last eight matches including the pair have seen both teams to score.
Surely this is the biggest banker of the week for BTTS given the history between the two.
Clermont vs. Paris Saint Germain: Paris Saint Germain, 1/4
It’s hard to look past Paris Saint Germain easing to another Ligue 1 title this season and they kick start with a trip to Clermont on Saturday evening.
PSG won both meetings last season, scoring an incredible 10 goals in the process, winning 6-1 at the Gabriel Montpied Stadium.
Christophe Galtier has been named the new manager of PSG and they have looked good in pre-season, culminating in a 4-0 win over Nantes in the Super Cup.
They are short odds, but it’s hard to look past a comfortable away victory here.
