Our third bet of the season includes two Premier League fixtures as we look to record a second win of the season.
Last weekend our 4/1 five fold came in, owing in part to some questionable refereeing decisions at Stamford Bridge, but we will take it.
Lyon vs. Troyes: Lyon
Lyon will be looking to record a second win of the season when they host Troyes in Friday’s night Ligue fixture.
Lyon’s fixture last time out was cancelled due to the pitch, whilst Troyes have suffered back to back losses and sit 19th in the early standings.
Lyon have a superb recent record against their opponents, winning seven in a row, including both matches last campaign.
Tottenham vs. Wolves: Tottenham
The first Premier League game of the weekend see’s Wolves travel to face Tottenham in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.
Spurs twice rallied from a goal down to earn a point at Chelsea last weekend, whilst Wolves were frustrated in their 0-0 home draw with Fulham.
Wolves have a good record away to Spurs recently, winning on their last two trips; however Tottenham are at a completely different level now under Antonio Conte.
A win for Tottenham here would send them top of the table, albeit briefly, and we are confident they will beat a Wolves side who struggle to score.
Torino vs. Lazio: Over 1.5 goals
Both Torino and Lazio kick started their 2022-23 Serie A campaigns off with 2-1 successes in their opening fixtures.
Goals are usually a given in Lazio games under Maurizio Sarri, averaging 3.55 goals per game last season in Serie A, comfortably the most involving any side.
Six of the last seven matches between the two teams have seen over 1.5 goals scored and it looks a shoe-in here.
Lille vs. Paris Saint Germain: Over 2.5 goals
Lille and Paris Saint Germain have made good starts to the season, scoring 15 goals combined in their two matches so far.
Goals have never been an issue for PSG; however even at this early stage under Christophe Galtier, they look a better unit than in previous campaigns.
There were nine goals in the two meetings last year involving the pair and over 2.5 goals should be a comfortable return.
Bochum vs. Bayern Munich: Bayern Munich to score in first half
Bayern Munich are unsurprisingly two for two in the Bundesliga, recording comfortable wins over Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg so far.
In just two matches they’ve scored eight goals, with all bar one interestingly coming in the first half, indicating that Munich fly out of the traps.
Bochum are without a point and have conceded five already this season and we are backing Bayern to continue their first half dominance in this one.
Manchester United vs. Liverpool: Liverpool
Liverpool have made a slow start to the season; however it pales into insignificance compared to the beginning of Erik ten Haag’s rein at Manchester United.
Beaten at home by Brighton in their opener, United followed it up with one of their worst ever Premier League displays, losing 4-0 away to Brentford.
Liverpool thrashed United in both meetings last term, winning a combined 9-0, which included an incredible 5-0 win at Old Trafford.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have drawn with Fulham and Crystal Palace so far themselves, but it’d be a brave man not to back them on Monday evening.
Six fold pays 5/1
