Teams to target: Manchester City, Arsenal
Manchester City vs. Tottenham
Manchester City will be looking to go top of the Premier League when they host Tottenham on Saturday evening.
Spurs are in a similar position and have a good recent record against City; however it’s hard to look past Pep Guardiola’s men here!
Haaland has made a ridiculous start to his City career and has 11 goals in his last four matches, including another two in the recent win at Sevilla.
He remains an easy hold and would be a brave FPL manager not to captain him here given his ridiculous form, even with the risk of rotation.
Kevin de Bruyne was given a breather in the recent win over Forest and is another great option, whilst the injury to Kyle Walker only increases the appeal of Joao Cancelo.
Arsenal vs. Everton
Despite losing for the first time this season last time out, Arsenal have one of the plumb FPL fixtures this weekend at home to Everton.
Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus have made very good starts to the season and both will surely get a rest in the Europa League midweek.
Even with blanks at Old Trafford for the Brazilian duo, both remain easy holds and maybe even buys if you don’t own.
The Gunners have just two clean sheets in six this season; however Everton have struggled for goals, scoring just four in their first six!
William Saliba continues to rise in price, but remains an easy route into the Arsenal defence.
Opposition to target: Nottingham Forest
Leeds United vs. Nottingham Forest
The arrival of Serge Aurier midweek means Nottingham Forest have signed an incredible 22 players this campaign!
Last time out they threw away a superb position against Bournemouth, losing 3-2, despite being two goals up at half-time.
They have conceded 14 goals in six games this season and have the worst XG against this term ahead of a trip to Leeds United.
Leeds have dropped off slightly in recent games; however you’d fancy them to do well here and a gamble on the likes of Brendan Aaronson or Jack Harrison may well prove fruitful.
Other options
Bournemouth vs. Brighton: Alexis McAllister, Pascal Gross, Leandro Trossard
Brighton options are easy holds, but I wouldn’t be buying this week even if they have one of the best fixtures in Bournemouth.
Manager Graham Potter has been heavily linked with the vacant position at Chelsea and Brighton are also without a fixture in GW8 after the postponement of their Crystal Palace fixture.
The above three are well owned and all returned in the 5-2 success over Leicester City.
Southampton vs. Brentford: Ivan Toney
Ivan Toney has made an excellent start to the season and scored a stunning hat-trick in GW6 as Brentford thrashed Leeds United.
Brentford have scored a superb 15 goals in just six league matches so far and you never really know what you are going to get with Southampton.
The third striker spot in FPL appears to be between Toney and Aleksandar Mitrovic and if I was going for either this weekend, then Toney would be the bet.
Crystal Palace vs. Manchester United: Marcus Rashford
Could Marcus Rashford be playing his way back into our FPL sides after his impressive start to the campaign.
Rashford scored two and assisted another in the 3-1 win over Arsenal last time out and he remains priced at £6.5m despite a few rises and falls.
Crystal Palace represent a very difficult fixture for United, but he will likely get a breather in the Europa League midweek.
GW7 Dream Team: Sanchez; Cancelo, Saliba, James; Martinelli, Rashford, De Bruyne, McAllister; Jesus, Toney, Haaland
