Teams to target: Chelsea & Arsenal
Aston Villa vs. Chelsea
Chelsea have been superb since the international break, winning all four matches, with the exception of Crystal Palace, all very comfortably.
The Graham Potter tenure has started well and they will be confident of another win when they travel to Aston Villa on Sunday.
Chelsea will likely have to do without Reece James who suffered an injury in the San Siro on Tuesday evening and he would have been most FPL managers first picks in this game.
Mason Mount has looked good in recent weeks and might be worth bringing him in given his upturn in form, whilst Pierre Emerick Aubamayeng has scored in his last three starts.
Defensively Kalidou Koulibaly or Marc Cucurella are probably the safest bets this weekend.
Leeds vs. Arsenal
Arsenal won both of their difficult fixtures since the international break and have eight wins from nine to take the early lead in the Premier League.
The front three of Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka have all looked superb in recent weeks, with the trio returning a combined four goals and three assists against Tottenham and Liverpool.
Jesus will miss the Europa League game mid-week, but doesn’t appear to be a doubt for the trip to Elland Road.
Arsenal have a blank in GW12 so I wouldn’t be signing any; however all three are excellent options this week and potential captaincy options if you want to risk moving away from Erling Haaland for a week.
Teams to target: Southampton
Southampton vs. West Ham United
Southampton are bottom of the Premier League form table having lost four matches in a row since an impressive win over Chelsea.
Defeat at the Etihad was always probable; however failing to get a point from games against Wolves, Aston Villa and Everton is a major disappointment.
West Ham United have won both matches since the international break and this has coincided with the form of Jarrod Bowen and new signing Gianluca Scamacca.
They both scored in wins over Wolves and Fulham and David Moyes’ men are starting to find some form and either could be good moves ahead of this weekend.
Other options
Leicester City vs. Crystal Palace: Wilfried Zaha & Eberechi Eze
Defensively Leicester City remain a shambles and they host a Crystal Palace side who are very good on the break.
Wilfried Zaha has a great record against the Foxes, scoring seven in 14 league meetings, including three in his last four.
Eberechi Eze has made a very good start to the season and opened his account with the winner against Leeds United last time out.
Liverpool vs. Manchester City: Erling Haaland
We all own the big man so there is little to add, but he will again be the strongest captaincy option this week despite the fixture.
Liverpool have been poor defensively this season, conceding 12 in eight games, including six in their last two matches.
Haaland has 15 goals already this campaign, including two hat-tricks and will fancy his chances of inflicting more pain on Jurgen Klopp on Sunday.
Tottenham vs. Everton: Harry Kane & Heung Min Son
Tottenham sit third in the Premier League; however are yet to hit top form and they face an Everton side in the middle of the pack.
Harry Kane has an incredible record against Everton, scoring 13 goals in 14 league matches and he already has eight league goals this term.
Heung Min Son hasn’t made the best of starts to the campaign; however scored a brace in the Champions League mid-week.
The South Korean international has a good record against Everton, with seven goal involvements in just 10 matches.
GW10 Dream Team: Sa; Koulibaly, Cancelo, Dunk; Saka, Martinelli, Mount, Eze, Bowen; Kane, Haaland
