Chelsea vs. Manchester United: FA Cup Quarter-Final – Match Preview

Chelsea entertain Manchester United in the fourth and final FA Cup Quarter-Final on Monday evening.

Chelsea opened up a 10 point lead at the top of the Premier League last week, following a 2-1 success away at West Ham United.

Goals from Eden Hazard and Diego Costa sealed a comfortable win for the runaway leaders.

United were somehow held to a 1-1 draw at home to Bournemouth, with Artur Boruc producing numerous top class saves for the visitors.

They did earn a decent 1-1 draw away to FC Rostov in the first leg of their last 16 Europa League tie.

Team news
Nemanja Matic is expected to take the place of Cesc Fabregas in midfield for the hosts.

The Serbian’s inclusion is likely to be the only change from the side that won at the Olympic Stadium.

Top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic is banned for the hosts after he received a retrospective suspension for an elbow on Tyrone Mings last weekend.

United have a striker crisis here, with Wayne Rooney, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial also out along with Ibrahimovic.

Expected starting XI’s
Chelsea (3-4-3): Courtois; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Pedro, Costa, Hazard
Manchester United (4-3-3): De Gea; Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Rojo; Carrick, Herrera, Pogba; Mata, Mkhitaryan, Fellaini
