Chelsea vs. Tottenham: FA Cup Semi-Final – Match Preview

The Premier League’s top two sides go head to head in the first FA Cup Semi-Final on Saturday as Chelsea face Tottenham.

Chelsea’s lead at the top of the league was cut to four points last weekend, as they were beaten away at Manchester United.

Goals from Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera sealed a surprisingly easy win for the hosts.

They did beat the Red Devils in the Quarter-Finals of this competition though, with N’Golo Kante scoring the winner.

Spurs hit League One side Millwall for six at the same stage, with Heung Min Son scoring a hat-trick.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are in superb form and eased past Bournemouth on the weekend.

The fit again Harry Kane was among the scorers, with Vincent Janssen scoring his first Premier League goal from open play.

Team news
Chelsea are likely to be without both Thibaut Courtois and Victor Moses on Saturday.

Gary Cahill, Diego Costa and Marcos Alonso are all minor doubts but should be fit to start here.

Spurs have a big dilemma as to whether start Heung Min Son in a 4-2-3-1 or revert back to a three man defence.

The South Korean international could miss out here, with Victor Wanyama likely to return to the side.

Expected starting XI’s
Chelsea (3-4-3): Begovic; Zouma, Luiz, Cahill; Azpilicueta, Matic, Kante, Alonso; Pedro, Costa, Hazard
Tottenham (3-4-2-1): Lloris; Dier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen; Walker, Wanyama, Dembele, Davies; Alli, Eriksen, Kane

Result: Tottenham (16/1 with Paddy Power)*
