Teams to target: Manchester City, Arsenal
Manchester City vs. Crystal Palace
Manchester City don’t have the best of records against Crystal Palace; however they will be big favourites for Saturday’s fixture.
Erling Haaland hasn’t been involved as much as he would have liked, however he still has three goals and an assist in the opening four matches.
Pep Guardiola has confirmed Haaland will be given breathers through out the season and with the Champions League on the horizon, the threat of rotation probably eliminates him as a captain option.
For now it would be brave to sell though, especially with a home game against Nottingham Forest mid-week.
Kevin de Bruyne has made an electric start to the season, whilst Ilkay Gundogan has goals in his last two games.
Joao Cancelo remains the best defensive option for Manchester City; however a budget option of John Stones is now appealing, especially with Nathan Ake an injury doubt.
Arsenal vs. Fulham
Arsenal sit top of the Premier League and are the only side to have won all three matches so far this campaign.
Most FPL managers have at least two Arsenal options and with back to back home games coming up, I’d be looking to make that three.
Defensively they have looked very good and William Saliba is a cheap way into the defence, with the Frenchman scoring his first goal for the Gunners in the win at Bournemouth last week.
Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli have made electric starts to the new campaign and it only feels a matter of time before Bukayo Saka builds on his one assist.
Opposition to target: Bournemouth
Liverpool vs. Bournemouth
Liverpool have struggled this season; however perhaps have been a tad unlucky this campaign.
Mohamed Salah still has three goal involvements in three games and it would be a brave manager who goes without, or even offloads the FPL king.
Luis Diaz continues to look lively and is another who I wouldn’t sell, but perhaps wouldn’t buy given his and the teams form.
Despite their slow start, Liverpool have the third highest XG in the league and you’d fancy them to react at home to newly promoted Bournemouth.
Bournemouth have conceded seven goals in their last two games, granted against elite opponents, however this is a category that Liverpool usually fall into.
Other options
Brentford: Ivan Toney
Brentford have scored an impressive eight goals in their first three matches this season and Ivan Toney has had a hand in four of those.
Two goals and two assists already for the former Newcastle man represents a very good start to the season and they host an Everton side without a win on Saturday.
Chelsea: Thiago Silva
Chelsea have made a relatively slow start to the season and were thrashed at Leeds United last weekend.
However they host a Leicester City side that are in disarray and have claimed just a single point from their opening three matches.
Leicester have conceded eight in three and have struggled from set-pieces for a prolonged period, making Thiago Silva an exciting pick for this one.
GW4 Dream Team: Sanchez; Saliba, Cancelo, Thiago Silva, Alexander-Arnold; Salah (C), Gundogan, Martinelli; Toney, Haaland, Jesus
