Manchester City vs. Manchester United: Premier League – Match Preview

The second Manchester derby of the season takes place on Thursday with both City and United in need of a result for a Champions League spot.

Manchester City were eliminated by Arsenal in the FA Cup Semi-Final on Sunday, despite Sergio Aguero’s opening goal.

They are in good form domestically though and eased past Southampton last time out, with Vincent Kompany among the scorers.

Manchester United moved to within a point of City after a comfortable 2-0 win away at Burnley on Sunday.

First half goals from Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney means a top four spot is again in United’s hands.
