City qualified second from their Champions League group, finishing below Barcelona despite beating the Spanish giants at the Etihad.
Monaco topped a group containing Tottenham, beating the English side home and away on route to easy qualification.
Their lead at the top of Ligue 1 remained at three points, despite a 1-1 draw away at Bastia on Friday evening.

Yaya Toure has been added into Champions League squad after he wasn’t registered for the group stage of the competition.
