Manchester United were desperately poor once again in defeat at Newcastle United on Saturday, losing 1-0, but it could have been much more.

Chelsea recorded an entertaining win over Brighton, edging a five goal thriller 3-2 at Stamford Bridge.

Raphael Varane continues to miss out, with the French defender seemingly another who has fallen out of favour with Erik ten Haag.
