Saturday evening’s Premier League fixture is a South Coast derby between Southampton and Bournemouth.
Southampton were beaten away at Tottenham prior to the international break, despite a very good second half display.
They left themselves too much to do, trailing 2-0 at the break thanks to goals from Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli.
Bournemouth’s good run continued and their 2-0 win over Swansea saw them push further clear of the drop.
Benik Afobe scored one and assisted another and they look likely to be a Premier League side next term.
