Southampton vs. Manchester United: Premier League – Match Preview

Two sides who have won just one of their first three Premier League games meet in the weekends early kick-off as Southampton host Manchester United.

Southampton got off the mark last time out as they recorded a 2-0 win away to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Moussa Djenepo scored just moments after coming off the bench, with Nathan Redmond sealing the win.

Manchester United were beaten at home by Crystal Palace, with Patrick van Aanholt scoring an added time winner.

The hosts dominated the ball, however created little, with Marcus Rashford missing a penalty.

Redmond has been ruled out having sustained an injury in the mid-week Capital One Cup fixture.

Juan Mata and Ashley Young appear favourites to come into the XI as a result.
