The two favourites for the Bundesliga title go head to head on Saturday as the champions Bayern Munich host Borussia Dortmund.
Munich sacked their manager Niko Kovac following the heavy 5-1 defeat away at Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend.
They edged past Olympiakos in the Champions League on Wednesday, with Robert Lewandowski among the scorers in a 2-0 victory.
Borussia Dortmund were too strong for Wolfsburg last time out in the league, ending the visitors unbeaten start to the season.
Achraf Hakimi scored twice as Dortmund recovered from two goals down to beat Inter in the Champions League.
Bundesliga form: Bayern Munich W2 D1 L2; Borussia Dortmund W2 D3 L0
Bundesliga top scorers
Bayern Munich – Robert Lewandowski 14 goals
Borussia Dortmund – Paco Alcacer & Marco Reus 5 goals each
Lewandowski reportedly needs a minor groin operation, but is set to delay surgery so he can feature here.
Bayern have numerous defensive absentees, including Jerome Boateng, Niklas Sule and Lucas Hernandez.
Marco Reus missed Dortmund’s Champions League fixture and is a doubt for the Klassiker.
Another doubt is Jadon Sancho who was forced off in the Inter fixture, meaning Hakimi is set to feature further forward.
