Liverpool and Chelsea meet in Istanbul on Wednesday as they go head to head for the 2019 Super Cup.
The Reds started the 2019-20 season with a comfortable 4-1 win at home to Norwich City.
Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi, the scorers in Madrid to earn them their sixth Champions League, also found the net on Friday evening.
Chelsea were thrashed 4-0 by Manchester United, despite being the better side for long periods at Old Trafford.
Both Tammy Abraham and full-back Emerson hit the post; however defensive errors cost them dearly.
