Two sides in competition for a Champions League spot meet on Wednesday as Manchester United host Sheffield United.

Manchester United recovered from a goal down to earn a decent point away at Tottenham on Friday evening.

Steven Bergwijn’s opener was cancelled out by a Bruno Fernandes penalty to leave United fifth in the Premier League.

Sheffield United have claimed just one point from two games since the leagues return.

They were thrashed 3-0 at Newcastle United on Sunday, with Joelinton scoring a rare goal in the victory.

Paul Pogba is expected to make his first start since September having impressed in a cameo display at Tottenham.

Mason Greenwood looked much better than Daniel James in the same game and could also start.

Sheffield United are without the banned John Egan and goalkeeper Dean Henderson who is ineligible to face his parent club.

Jack O’Connell remains a major doubt and the Blades could field a makeshift back line.
