Monaco vs. Paris Saint Germain: Ligue 1 – Match Preview

Paris Saint Germain can open up a six point lead at the top of Ligue 1 when they travel to the champions Monaco on Sunday evening.

Perhaps not unsurprisingly, Monaco haven’t been as good as least season following a mass summer exodus.

They are second in Ligue 1 though, however were eliminated from the Champions League during the week, following a 4-1 loss at home to RB Leipzig.

Paris Saint Germain in comparison have set a record for goals scored in the group stage of the Champions League with a game to spare, following a 7-1 success over Celtic.

They have won three consecutive Ligue 1 matches, including a comfortable 4-1 win over Nantes last week.

Radamel Falcao is fit and available again for the hosts and will lead the line.

Kylian Mbappe will return to Monaco for the first time since leaving for PSG in the summer.

Expect some rotation from the side that thrashed Celtic, with both full-backs likely to change.
