Tottenham vs. Manchester United: Premier League – Match Preview

Tottenham entertain Manchester United in Ange Postecoglou’s first home game in charge of the Lilywhites.

Spurs were definitely more adventurous under the Aussie in their season opener, as they played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with Brentford.

James Maddison was heavily involved for Spurs, assisting both goals, although defensively they looked suspect.

Manchester United were lucky to record an opening day win over Wolves, hanging onto Raphael Varane’s headed winner.

Andre Onana had a good debut for United; however was very fortunate not to concede a late penalty.

Manchester United have a good recent record against Spurs, winning four of the last five league meetings.
