Fantasy Football Dream Team: GW3

Teams to target: Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool

Bournemouth vs. Arsenal
Arsenal have made a superb start to the season, claiming six points from six in comfortable wins over Crystal Palace and Leicester City.

Gabriel Jesus had the perfect home debut last time out, scoring twice and assisting a further two in the 4-2 win over Leicester.

He remains ridiculously high owned so I’d be surprised if you need to sign him; however an additional midfielder appears to be a must.

Gabriel Martinelli, two goals in two games and Bukayo Saka are both good options, with the former rising by 0.3 already since the start of the season.

Newcastle United vs. Manchester City
Manchester City are another with six points and are yet to concede in wins over West Ham United and Bournemouth.

Only Kevin de Bruyne has returned more points for City this season than Joao Cancelo and unsurprisingly he is the clubs highest owned defender.

Seems a necessity to own at least one City defender and there is real value in Kyle Walker at 5.1 whose 12 points have been very easily owned.

It’s hard to get Kevin de Bruyne in alongside Haaland, especially if you own Mohamed Salah already, however Joao Cancelo, Ilkay Gundogan and Phil Foden are all under 8.0m and having at least one alongside Haaland is necessary.

Manchester United vs. Liverpool
Manchester United will be looking to avoid further humiliation when they host Liverpool in the Monday evening Premier League fixture.

Mohamed Salah has made a relatively slow start to the campaign; however he recorded five goals and one assist in the two Premier League meetings last year.

Defensively Liverpool have looked sluggish this term, so perhaps just one of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson is required, even against an awful United side.

If you want a complete Liverpool supplement then Luis Diaz would be a good third option, especially with Darwin Nunez suspended for the next three games.

Other options

Leicester City: James Maddison
Leicester City have made a slow start to the season and a home fixture with Southampton appears to be a must win for the Foxes.

James Maddison has attracted interest from Newcastle United; however it appears likely he will remain with the club and the 25-year-old is in superb form.

He already has a goal and assist this season and ended the previous campaign with four goals and three assists in the final four matches.

Southampton are the perfect opponents for Maddison, with the Saints in horrible form, with just one win in 14 league matches.

Chelsea: Reece James
Chelsea were excellent against Tottenham last time out and unfortunate not to record all three points.

Reece James was the Blues best performer and their attacking input increased significantly when he moved to the right wing-back spot.

James has returned back to back seven pointers so far this term and he scored 12 points in the fixture at Leeds United last term.

Tottenham: Ivan Perisic & Dejan Kulusevski
Ivan Perisic made a big impact off the bench for Tottenham last time out and although not guaranteed to start, he could be worth a risk here.

As soon as the Croatian came on he was entrusted with all set pieces and assisted Harry Kane’s late leveller at the Bridge.

Dejan Kulusevski was superb in Spurs’ opener against Southampton and in a game they will dominate, he is likely to be heavily involved again.

The Swedish international is much cheaper than Harry Kane and Heung Min Son and is a very good alternative to Tottenham’s main men.

GW3 Dream Team: Henderson; Walker, Alexander-Arnold, James, Perisic; Gundogan, Salah (C), Martinelli, Maddison; Jesus, Haaland
